2016 World Food & Agricultural Products E-Commerce Conference themed “Agricultural Commerce Interconnection, Future Connection”, sponsored by Committee of E-Commerce on China Association of Trade in Services and China E-Commerce Industry

 

 

 

 

 

2016 World Food & Agricultural Products E-Commerce Conference themed “Agricultural Commerce Interconnection, Future Connection”, sponsored by Committee of E-Commerce on China Association of Trade in Services and China E-Commerce Industry Alliance, was held on November 17 in Weifang, Shandong.

 


Representatives from more than a dozen countries, including Russian, Canada, Netherlands, Spain, Mexico, Australia, South Korea, Ukraine, and France, etc., and some well-known E-commerce in our country, including Tmall, JD, Benlai, Fruit Day, UrFresh, Cuncunle, 100IEC, Guolele, and Caiguanjia, were presented at the conference. Over thirty guests shared their experiences in developing world food & agricultural E-commerce with each other and conceived the future trends.


At the beginning of the conference, the unveiling ceremony of "World E-Commerce Industry Alliance" was held solemnly, marking the formal establishment of a cosmopolitan platform.World E-Commerce Industry Alliance is set up by Committee of E-Commerce on China Association of Trade in Services joint with UNIDO and a dozen countries, including Russia, Spain, Netherlands, France, Australia, Canada, to promote international cooperation and increase two-way circulation of international commodity based on channel of e-commerce. Delegates will serve as its president in turns and the office will be set in Committee of E-Commerce on China Association of Trade in Services.


In this conference, Committee of E-Commerce on China Association of Trade in Services has published “2016 White Paper on the Internet-based Agricultural Products in China”, finished jointly by Committee of E-Commerce on China Association of Trade in Services and Irelint. For the first time, it systematically shows the development status and future direction of agriculture products e-commerce.The White Paper, an integration of present situation, problems review, pattern remarks, trends prediction and introduction to foreign development, is highly praised by participants.


With the increasing connection role of Internet, the world has become a “global village” in a real sense, characterized by closer cooperation and mounting influence.Against the back ground of economic integration, the global demand for food & agricultural products in various countries is even more urgent. The successful 2016 World Food & Agricultural Products E-Commerce Conference will become an effective impetus of international understanding and cooperation with a significant role in enhancing the image of China’s E-commerce industry.
